Influenced by America’s WWF and Mexico’s famous “Lucha Libre”, Cholitas Wrestling is a one of a kind spectacle, featuring bolivian women (traditionally dressed in colorful puffy skirts and bowler hats) battling it out in spectacular fashion.
Every Sunday and Thursday, a lot of people line up to witness Cholitas tackle, dodge, slap, choke, jump and fall on their opponents with a mix of humor and passion unique to this sport.
